The 2nd Annual AutoNorth Open Golf Tournament was held on Sept. 10th, 2011 at Androscoggin Valley Country Club in Gorham, NH. 100% of the proceeds of the event are donated back to the club to help offset operating costs as well as provide funds for improvements at the course.
72 golfers attended this year’s event which raised a total of $4,100.
The highlight of the event was Drew McKenna’s hole-in-one on the 15th hole, a 165-yard par 3. The shot was witnessed by his Dad (Tom), John Smithson and Jim Hennessey. This elusive achievement was awarded with a brand-new set of Callaway woods, which were presented by Shawn Hanlon and Don Noyes from AutoNorth.
